Sonor Primary Line instruments were completely re-designed in 2010, for sound optimization, and environmental stewardship.  They are the first Orff instruments to be FSC certified.  This ensures eco-friendly production and sustainable harvesting of all wood used. 

The AXP 1.1 comes with Pao Rosa rosewood bars, measuring 37 x 18mm.  The pitch range is c1-a2 with c1 being middle C.  Note names are printed in the center of the each bar along with staff notation.  The stepped resonator box is made of solid birch plywood to prevent warping and includes brackets for use with accessory legs or the Basis Trolley System.  The AXP 1.1 comes with one pair of SCH 23 mallets and coordinates with chromatic extension AXP 2.1
