The Sonor GBX GBF Global Beat bass xylophone has
fiberglass bars measuring 38 x 15 mm. Bars receive overtone tuning for c - a, and
fundamental tuning for b-flat and above. The pitch range is c-a1 diatonic, with c1
being middle C. The resonator box is made of birch plywood with six resonance
chambers, and each instrument comes with a carrying bag to stow 3 bars (2 F#, 1
Bb). The GBX GBF comes with one pair SCH 25 mallets.
