PP098 Short Notepegs for Xylophones and Metallophones

These rubber pegs will fit over the flat rectangular posts of older Premier, New Era and Rhythm Band xylophones and
metallophones. They also fit Percussion Plus instruments. Short Notepegs fit between the bars for SX, SM, AX, AM. Long Notepegs go through the bar holes for SX, SM, AX, AM and on both sides of BX, BM. Notepegs for xylophones and metallophones are sold individually.
It is more economical to order the PP095 repair kits if you are reconditioning an entire instrument. If you only need to replace a few individual notepegs, then order PP099 or PP098.
New info on Short Notepegs: In our repair work we have found that while the short notepegs will fit over the posts on New Era and Premier xylophones and metallophones, they are slightly wider than the original New Era/Premier parts. On some instruments this may cause pinching of the tone bars, when the PP098 are used to cover adjacent posts. Thus we highly recommend the PP095 Repair Kit if you need to cover all or most of the posts on the player's side of the instrument. We offer the PP098 part for cases where you only need to cover a few individual non-adjacent posts.
