Sonor Primary Line instruments were completely
re-designed in 2010, for sound optimization, and environmental
stewardship.
They are the first Orff instruments to be FSC certified. This ensures
eco-friendly production and sustainable harvesting of all wood used.
The GBXP 1.1 comes with Pao Rosa rosewood bars,
measuring 37 x 18mm. Bars receive overtone tuning for c-a, and
fundamental tuning for b-flat and above. The pitch range is c-a1
diatonic,
with c1 being middle C. Note names are printed in the center of the each
bar along with staff notation. The stepped resonator box has six
chambers
and is made of solid birch plywood to prevent warping. It includes
brackets
for use with accessory legs or the Basis Trolley System. The GBXP 1.1
comes
with one pair of Sch-15 mallets and coordinates with chromatic extension
